  21. The silk screen may be wrong as well.  The only way to know for sure is 
  22. to check pin 25 of the DB25 *or* plug in an external terminator with an 
  23. indicator LED.

  25. And back to the original post: with a fair amount of external peripherals 
  26. on the A3000 DB25, you might start running into trouble because of the 
  27. length of the cable or quality of the shielding.  Reducing the length of 
  28. the cables used or replacing them with better quality ones might help.  
  29. And if any of the external devices use active termination, shuffle them 
  30. around so that one is the terminated device (active termination is more 
  31. effective that passive).
